1) Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer (private customer) in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days after you receive your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us within these 14 days by an unequivocal statement (e.g., by email). After you notify us, you have another 14 days to return the goods.

2) Start your return (required to email us first)

To start any return/withdrawal, you must email us first at:

A) Returns from the Netherlands (choose 1 option)

Choose one option below and mention it in your email:

1) Return label via us - €15
We email you a return label. €15 will be deducted from your refund.

2) Free in-person drop-off

3) Self-arranged return shipping (at your own risk)
You ship the parcel to the address above at your own cost and responsibility. We strongly recommend tracked shipping. The risk of loss/damage remains with the sender until the parcel has been delivered to us.

B) Returns from outside the Netherlands

You must always arrange and pay for return shipping yourself. Please email us once the parcel has been shipped with:

  • carrier + tracking number (or proof of shipment)

We process the return based on the completed Return Form inside the parcel and the items received.

3) Return Form (mandatory inside the parcel)

Every return parcel must include our completed Return Form.

Returns received without a completed Return Form may be delayed or unable to be processed until the information is complete.

4) Condition of returned items & diminished value

You may unpack and inspect items as you would in a physical store. If you handle the goods more than necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct an amount from your refund for diminished value (loss in value).

Practical return conditions:

  • Return items complete, including accessories, and (where reasonably possible) in the original packaging.
  • Items must be clean and in a resellable condition.
  • We may request proof of purchase.

5) Specific: padel rackets factory seals, handle plastic & use (important)

Padel rackets are sensitive products and “testing” can quickly make them no longer new. Inspection should be limited to what is reasonably possible as in a physical store.

To keep a padel racket eligible for a full refund:

  • All factory seals/protective seals must remain fully intact.
  • The plastic wrap on the handle/grip must remain fully intact (and any original protective wrapping must remain in place).

If a seal or handle plastic is removed, opened, broken or replaced, we will consider the racket no longer in its original/new state and we will apply diminished value. In practice, this can be up to 100%, which may result in no refund.

Using a racket (e.g., on court) or visible signs of use (ball marks, wear, damage, changed grip/overgrip, etc.) will also result in (high) diminished value, potentially up to 100%.

6) Specific: shoes fitting allowed, no outdoor/court use

You may try on shoes indoors to check size and fit, as you would in a physical store. Shoes must be returned clean, unworn and in a resellable condition, with the original box (where reasonably possible).

Outdoor use, court use, or visible signs of wear (dirt, sole abrasion, creasing, damage) will result in diminished value, potentially up to 100%, and may lead to no refund.

7) Return shipping costs, risk and return address

  • For standard returns (no confirmed issue/defect on arrival), return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
  • For Netherlands returns using our UPS label, €15 will be deducted from the refund.
  • The risk of loss/damage during return shipment remains with the sender until the parcel is delivered to us (especially for self-arranged and international returns).

8) Wrong item, transport damage on arrival, or defect (claims)

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If the item arrived damaged, appears defective upon arrival, or you received the wrong item, contact us without undue delay via Returns@padelshop.com and include:

  • your order number; and
  • photos and a short description of the issue (when applicable).

If our inspection confirms that the issue is due to our mistake (wrong item) or a defect/damage that existed upon delivery, we will provide an appropriate solution. Where a return shipment is necessary, we will decide on the most suitable option (for example: replacement, partial refund, repair, or return at our cost).

If the issue is not confirmed (e.g., damage caused by use, misuse, or customer handling), return shipping costs and/or other costs may be charged to the customer or deducted from the refund.

9) Refunds (inspection & timing)

After we receive your return, we will inspect the items.

A refund will be issued after inspection, provided the return meets the conditions of this policy and applicable law. Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

What we refund:

  • the purchase price of the returned items, minus any deductions for return shipping costs and/or diminished value.

If you withdraw from the entire order, we also refund the standard outbound delivery cost (the cheapest standard delivery option we offered). We do not refund extra charges for express/special delivery options.

When we refund:
We will refund within 14 days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have provided evidence of having sent back the goods (whichever is earlier).

10) Exchanges

If you would like a different item, please place a new order for the desired item and return the original item for a refund following the steps above.

11) Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or clearly personalized products.
