About this racket
The NOX AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtreme 2026 is the most explosive racket in the AT10 2026 range. The diamond shape, high balance point and extended handle are built for attacking players who want to dominate every point with maximum power. The sweet spot sits high in the face, exactly where smashes and overheads make contact. Combined with the hardest core in the AT10 range, the HR3 Hard Black EVA, this racket delivers an explosive, direct response that has little in common with an all-round construction. This is a specialist tool.
What is new in 2026?
For 2026, NOX has completely redesigned the mould with a more aerodynamic profile and EOS Tunnel side perforations. The biggest innovation in the Attack range is the 12K Alum Xtrem carbon: an NOX exclusive that reduces fibre waviness by 50 percent compared to standard 12K carbon, resulting in a stiffer and more uniform feel. Combined with the HR3 Hard Black EVA core, this gives the Attack 12K the most powerful and direct playing character in the entire AT10 2026 collection.
The Weight Balance system is new for 2026: interchangeable 2g and 4g weights in the handle that let you adjust the already high balance point further to your playing style. The Dual Spin surface now covers the entire face, compared to only specific zones in 2025.
Playing character: explosive, stiff, net-dominant
The diamond shape creates a high sweet spot that provides maximum leverage on smashes, overheads and put-away shots. The high balance amplifies this: the extra mass at the top of the face generates more rotational speed on a full swing, producing significantly more power on attacking shots than a neutral or low balance point would.
The HR3 Hard Black EVA core is the hardest in the AT10 2026 range. This means a very direct, explosive response where the ball leaves the face quickly and with force. There is little damping and little dwell time. This is exactly what an attacking net player wants: maximum power on first contact. Players used to softer or intermediate cores will feel the difference immediately.
The 30 mm extended handle provides extra leverage for two-handed backhands and increases swing length on overheads. This makes the Attack 12K particularly suited to players who actively attack from the serve position or execute many smash shots.
The Dual Spin surface across the entire face gives considerable ball grip even on this power-oriented racket. Vipers, slice shots and effect balls are fully executable, making the Attack 12K more versatile than its power profile might suggest.
Weight Balance: adjusting the high balance point
Interchangeable 2g and 4g weights sit in the handle and can be swapped without tools. The racket already has a high balance point by default. Add weights to make it even more aggressive. Remove them to increase manoeuvrability slightly without losing the attacking character.
Technologies
- 12K Alum Xtrem Carbon: 50 percent less fibre waviness than standard 12K. Stiffer, more uniform and more stable under temperature changes. The most explosive carbon in the AT10 2026 range.
- HR3 Hard Black EVA core: The hardest core in the AT10 2026 range. High density and maximum memory effect for explosive, direct energy transfer on every shot, especially smashes and put-away shots.
- Weight Balance: Interchangeable 2g and 4g weights in the handle. Balance adjustable without tools. New for 2026, not in the 2025 version.
- Dual Spin surface: 3D texture combined with silica sand finish across the full face. Maximum spin on vipers, slice shots and effect balls.
- EOS Tunnel: Side perforations in the frame. Reduce air resistance and increase swing speed during aggressive strokes.
- DCS (Dynamic Composite Structure): Reinforcement at the frame-face junction. Reduces cracking risk under the high impact of powerful attacking shots.
- Pulse System: Vibration-dampening rubbers in the frame. Limits vibration to the hand, important with a high balance point and hard foam core.
- Custom Grip: NOX grip technology, certified by Testea Padel. Better hold and reduced vibration, also on hard shots.
- SmartStrap: Quick-release safety strap. Hygienic and fully adjustable.
- Photochromic Paint: Light-reactive paint in the core that changes colour based on light exposure.
Which player is this for?
This racket is exclusively suited to advanced and professional players with technically consistent technique and a clearly attacking playing style. The combination of diamond shape, high balance and hard core places high demands on technique: shots that are not well struck are punished more than with a rounder or lower-balance racket. Players who want more comfort, forgiveness or defensive capability will be better served by the AT10 Genius 18K Alum or the AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum.
Ideal for: net-dominant attackers who execute many smashes, players with a powerful two-handed backhand, advanced players who deliberately choose maximum power over comfort.
Attack 12K versus Attack 18K
Both rackets are diamond-shaped with a high balance point and extended handle. The fundamental difference is in the core and playing feel. The Attack 12K has the hardest core, the HR3 Hard EVA, and delivers the most direct, explosive feel in the entire AT10 range. The Attack 18K has an MLD Black EVA core with a more intermediate touch, slightly more comfort in long sessions and a fraction more forgiveness on imperfectly struck shots. Choose the 12K for maximum directness and explosiveness. Choose the 18K for that attacking character with slightly more control and comfort.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Attack 12K and the Attack 18K?
Both are diamond-shaped with a high balance point and extended handle. The Attack 12K has the HR3 Hard EVA core, the hardest and most direct in the AT10 range. The Attack 18K has the MLD Black EVA core with a more intermediate feel and slightly more forgiveness. Choose the 12K for maximum explosiveness. Choose the 18K for attacking play with more comfort.
What is the difference between the Attack 12K and the Genius 12K?
Both use the 12K Alum Xtrem carbon. The difference is in the shape and balance. The Genius 12K has a round shape with a medium-high balance for all-round players combining power with control. The Attack 12K has a diamond shape with a high balance and extended handle specifically for attacking play and net dominance.
Is this racket suitable for intermediate players?
Not recommended. The combination of diamond shape, high balance and the hardest core in the range places high technical demands. Shots outside the high sweet spot are punished significantly. Players still in technical development will be better served by a more forgiving model.
How much does the racket weigh?
