NOX AT10 LUX padel shoes

The NOX AT10 LUX is the most advanced padel shoe model from NOX and one of the most technically substantiated padel shoes on the market. Worn by Agustin Tapia, at his peak the world number 1 in padel, and the official shoe of several Premier Padel tournaments in Spain. The distinguishing feature of the AT10 LUX is not the brand or the player, but the way the model was developed: starting from health as the principle, with clinical validation as proof.

Clinically validated: what that means

NOX has all AT10 LUX models tested and certified by the INESCOP Footwear Technology Center in Alicante, the most renowned footwear technology institute in Spain. Then the model is medically validated by podiatrist Marta Rueda, adviser to the Sant Cugat High Performance Sports Center and hundreds of elite athletes.

That validation concerns measurable parameters: pressure distribution across the sole, muscle tension in the calf during starts and stops, and ankle stability during lateral movements. Testea Padel awarded the AT10 LUX the prize for most powerful padel shoe of 2024. These are not marketing claims but certified measured results.

What sets the AT10 LUX apart from the AT10 Pro

Both models share the core DNA of NOX: AGG technology, Lateral Support, AbraXone reinforcement and the certified clinical foundation. The AT10 LUX has a premium construction with an Ortholite inner insole with antimicrobial effect, a more refined fit and improved material quality in the upper. The AT10 Pro is the more accessible model with the same technological principles at a lower price.

Shared NOX technology across all models

  • AGG (Advanced Gravity Geometry): elevated heel-to-toe drop. The heel sits higher than the forefoot. This facilitates the waiting posture of a padel player and makes explosive starts easier. At the same time it reduces tension on the calf muscle with every start, which lowers the risk of calf muscle tears and plantar fasciitis.
  • Lateral Support: increased sole contact area with the court on the sides. During lateral movement the foot has a wider support base, reducing the risk of ankle rolling.
  • AbraXone: internal lateral reinforcement element that resists wear and extends the stability of the shoe. Positioned on the inside of the upper on the zones most prone to abrasion during padel movements.
  • Popcorn EVA + Phylon midsole: the outsole is built from EVA with a popcorn structure, mounted using the Strobel method. Above that a low-density Phylon midsole. This combination delivers shock absorption and energy return simultaneously.
  • Clinical validation: all NOX padel shoes are certified by INESCOP (the Spanish footwear technology institute) and medically validated by podiatrist Marta Rueda.

Fit: watch the sizing

The AT10 LUX has a snug, close fit that feels smaller than the size indicates. Going half a size up is recommended by most users. Consult the size guide on the product page for exact centimetre comparison.

Noene insoles: the extra protection layer

NOX builds good shock absorption into their shoes. But on courts with a hard base and thin fibres vibration energy still comes through. Noene insoles absorb up to 96 percent of those vibrations preventively. We recommend Noene to every player as an additional buffer alongside a good NOX shoe.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the AT10 LUX and the AT10 Pro?

The AT10 LUX has a premium Ortholite inner insole, a more refined upper and higher material quality. The AT10 Pro has the same core features, AGG, Lateral Support and clinical foundation, but is more accessibly priced.

Is the AT10 LUX also suitable for recreational players?

Yes. The clinical foundation and injury-preventive technologies are actually most valuable for players who do not train professionally but do want to protect their joints well during regular play.
