Both rackets come from the adidas Pro EDT 2026 line, but they are opposites. The Metalbone is a diamond-shaped power racket: head-heavy, high swingweight, built to finish points. The Cross It Pro is round, soft and neutrally balanced, built for control, comfort and maneuverability. In short: choose the Metalbone if you want to attack and finish, and the Cross It Pro if you want to steer the game with placement and ease.

Playing characteristics

The round shape gives a large, centered sweet spot that covers almost the entire face, making it forgiving on shots you don't strike perfectly. Combined with the very soft core you get plenty of comfort and control, while the neutral swingweight keeps the racket moving smoothly through the air and reacting quickly at the net.

Technology

The Cross It Pro uses Dynamic Air Flow: open holes in the heart of the blade that reduce air resistance and so increase maneuverability. The 11 Thirteen hole pattern, with eleven smaller central holes alongside thirteen larger ones, adds stiffness, power and durability where it matters. The extended Power Grip increases inertia and therefore the power in your shots. The core is an EVA Soft Energy rubber, which matches the soft, comfortable response we measured.
