Adidas Metalbone padel rackets

Adidas Metalbone padel rackets are designed for players who are specifically looking for power, a more direct racket feel, and greater influence over balance and customization within the Adidas range. Within the collection, the differences are significant enough to make a very deliberate choice: some models are built for maximum explosiveness, while others focus more on control, comfort, or maneuverability. That makes Metalbone especially interesting for players who already know they want a performance racket, but are still deciding which type of feel suits them best.

Which Adidas Metalbone suits you best?

Metalbone HRD+ 2026: maximum power.
The hardest and most explosive model in the line. Thanks to EVA High Memory, the racket feels more direct and powerful, with less cushioning.

Metalbone 2026: all-round power.
The most complete mix of power and control within the Metalbone line. Still very attack-oriented, but with a bit more comfort and versatility than the HRD+.

Metalbone CTRL 2026: control.
Its round shape and lower balance make this model feel more precise and easier to handle. Less focus on pure power, more on placement and tempo.

Metalbone Carbon 2026: feel and finesse.
Plays slightly lighter and more refined thanks to Carbon 6K. It offers more touch and more feedback on ball contact than the standard Metalbone.

Metalbone Carbon CTRL 2026: light control.
Control-oriented and maneuverable, with a rounder character and a lighter feel in fast rallies.

Metalbone Team 2026: comfortable performance.
Softer and more accessible thanks to the fiberglass hitting surface and EVA Soft Performance. It plays more forgivingly than the top-end models.

Metalbone Team Light 2026: light and fast.
According to Adidas, this is the lightest model in the line. It offers more maneuverability, comfort, and control than pure power.

Metalbone Superlight 2026: very accessible.
The easiest-playing Metalbone version, with a strong focus on simple handling and a lightweight feel.

What are the main differences within the Metalbone line?

Hardness:
The biggest difference is between HRD+ and the rest of the line. HRD+ uses EVA High Memory, which creates a harder and more direct ball contact. The other models use EVA Soft Performance, which provides noticeably more comfort and cushioning.

Shape and control:
Players who want more control will usually move towards the CTRL models more quickly. These versions are more focused on precision, handling, and control.

Material feel:
The standard Metalbone models use a stiffer aluminized carbon construction, while the Carbon versions use Carbon 6K. That gives more touch, more feedback on ball contact, and a little more flexibility.

Comfort and accessibility:
The Team, Team Light, and Superlight models are clearly more accessible than the top-end models. In particular, the fiberglass construction of the Team and the lower weight of the Team Light make these models easier to handle and more arm-friendly.
