Cork padel rackets

Cork is a Portuguese padel brand with a truly distinctive identity in a market dominated by Spanish brands. Every Cork racket is handmade in Portugal using an eight-hour production process, and the brand builds each racket from a combination of materials that are rarely found together in mainstream padel: cork, carbon fibre, fiberglass and Innegra. The result is a racket that is both technically refined and unusually durable. Cork claims their rackets last up to four times longer than conventional padel rackets, and the anti-vibration system that runs through all their models makes them especially interesting for players who are sensitive to arm strain.

At PadelShop.com you will find the complete Cork padel racket range. Please note that many Cork models have limited production runs and some models may show as sold out. The Cork padel racket lines explained

Classic — accessible quality with the Cork identity

The Cork Classic line is the entry point into the brand. It delivers the characteristic Cork playing feel, the anti-vibration system and the handmade construction, at a more accessible price point. The Classic is suited to players who want a long-lasting, comfortable racket and value craftsmanship over aggressive performance specifications.

Available in: Cork Classic II 2026.

Premium — the core of the Cork range

The Premium line is the heart of the Cork collection. It sits between the Classic and Supreme tiers and offers a well-developed mix of control, comfort and durability for players who play regularly and want more from their racket than the entry level provides. The Premium range covers Control, Power and Hybrid variants, each with a different shape and sweet spot position to suit different playing styles.

Available in: Cork Premium Power II, Cork Premium Control III 2026, Cork Premium Power III 2026, Cork Premium Hybrid III 2026.

Supreme — for advanced and experienced players

The Supreme line represents a significant step up in technical precision and construction quality within the Cork range. These rackets are built for experienced players who want a more demanding and performance-oriented feel while keeping the distinctive Cork anti-vibration comfort. Supreme models are available in Control, Power and Hybrid variants, and in 2026 a Supreme Hybrid IV has been added alongside the existing Supreme Control IV and Supreme Power IV.

Sweet spot, shape and what it means for your game

The shape of a padel racket determines where the sweet spot is located and how the racket behaves in different game situations. This matters for every player, regardless of level. Playing style, position on court and technique are more decisive than your ranking.

  • Round racket: the sweet spot covers almost the entire face. Very forgiving and consistent on shots at different heights. Round rackets are not only for beginners. The shape relates to playing style, not level. There are plenty of advanced players who deliberately choose a round racket because it fits a control-oriented, patient style of play.
  • Teardrop racket: the sweet spot sits mid-high in the face. This combines control at lower heights with more power on higher, attacking shots. Well suited to all-round players who want both consistency and punch in their game.
  • Hybrid racket: the hybrid shape combines elements of the teardrop and diamond. The sweet spot sits slightly higher than on a teardrop, but is larger than on a diamond. This makes it versatile for players who want power and control without committing fully to one direction. The hybrid shape generally asks for at least an intermediate level of technique.
  • Diamond racket: the sweet spot sits high in the face and is smaller. Maximum striking power on smashes and high volleys, but requires consistent technique to hit the sweet spot reliably. Diamond rackets are suited to advanced and professional players.

Weight, balance and injury prevention

Cork stands out from most padel brands because of its anti-vibration system, which is integrated into every racket in the range. This system absorbs vibration at the moment of impact and reduces the rotational load transferred to the elbow, wrist and shoulder. For players who have experienced padel injuries or are sensitive to arm strain, this is one of the most significant technical advantages Cork offers over conventional padel rackets.

Women generally play best with rackets between 340 and 360 grams. The Cork Classic, Premium Control and Premium Hybrid lines are the most natural starting points because of their lower balance points and comfortable feel.

Men at recreational level generally do well with 355 to 370 grams. The Premium Power and Supreme Control are strong choices in this range. Men who want more performance can look at the Supreme Power or Extreme lines.

A racket that is too heavy or too head-heavy for your technique and physical condition is one of the most common causes of padel injuries, including tennis elbow, wrist pain and shoulder complaints. The anti-vibration system in Cork rackets does not eliminate this risk entirely, but it does meaningfully reduce the arm load compared to conventional rackets of similar weight and balance. If you have a history of arm injuries, Cork is one of the brands we most readily recommend at our Experience Center.

Frequently asked questions about Cork padel rackets

What makes Cork padel rackets different from other brands?

Cork stands out on three points. First, every racket is handmade in Portugal with an eight-hour production process. Second, the brand uses a unique material combination of cork, carbon fibre, fiberglass and Innegra that most other brands do not offer. Third, the integrated anti-vibration system in all Cork models meaningfully reduces the load on the elbow, wrist and shoulder compared to conventional rackets.

Are Cork rackets really four times more durable?

Cork makes this claim based on the quality of their materials and construction process, particularly the use of Innegra, which is a high-performance polymer fibre known for its durability and impact resistance. While individual results depend on how you play and store your racket, Cork rackets do have a strong reputation for lasting significantly longer than average padel rackets.

Which Cork racket is best for players with elbow problems?

All Cork rackets include the anti-vibration system, so all of them offer more arm protection than a conventional racket. For players with active elbow problems, the Cork Classic, Premium Control or Supreme Control are the most recommended starting points because of their lower balance points and softer feel. Avoid the Premium Power, Supreme Power and Extreme lines if you are in recovery, as the higher balance points increase the rotational load on the arm.

Why are so many Cork models sold out?

Cork produces rackets in limited runs because of the handmade production process. This means some models are periodically out of stock. If you are looking for a specific model, contact us via WhatsApp and we will let you know current availability and expected restock timing.

Can I test a Cork racket before buying?

Yes. At our Padel Experience Center in Alphen aan den Rijn you can test Cork rackets  on a professional court. Our specialists watch you play and advise based on your style, level and any injury history. Not near Alphen? Contact us via WhatsApp.

Does Cork have diamond-shaped rackets?

Yes. The Premium Power, Supreme Power and Extreme lines all include diamond-shaped models for players who want maximum power. The Control lines use round shapes and the Hybrid lines use hybrid shapes, so the Cork range covers all four shapes: round, teardrop, hybrid and diamond.
