Adidas Crazyquick padel shoes

The Adidas Crazyquick is the first and most ambitious padel shoe model from Adidas. Developed in collaboration with Ale Galan, at the time the world number 1 in padel, and Marta Ortega. It is van Adidas answer to the question: what does the fastest padel shoe look like? The answer is a shoe that applies every technology from the Adidas arsenal to the specific demands of padel.

Two versions: BOOST and Lightstrike

  • Crazyquick BOOST: the version with BOOST midsole. BOOST is van Adidas best-known technology: thermoplastic polyurethane granules that compress and return energy with every step. Gives a more responsive and less fatiguing feel during long sessions. Slightly heavier than the Lightstrike version but with more energy return. The choice for players who combine endurance and power with speed.
  • Crazyquick Lightstrike: the lightweight version. Lightstrike is an ultralight EVA foam tuned for direct response and speed. Less energy return than BOOST but lighter on the foot. The choice for players who prioritise explosiveness and lightness over maximum cushioning.

Shared technologies in both versions

  • Slingframe construction: an internal frame that supports the foot exactly where needed without enclosing it. During a direction change the Slingframe keeps the foot stable while the rest of the shoe moves with it. Adidas describes it as stability without restriction.
  • Padel Sole: the outsole is specifically designed for padel courts. In the forefoot there is a pivot point that facilitates quick rotations, comparable to the pivot circles in the Munich Padx. The multi-directional rubber compound provides grip in all directions.
  • Adituff toe reinforcement: rubber reinforcement on the toe of the shoe. Protects the zone that wears most in padel.
  • Lightweight textile upper: breathable and flexible. Ensures the shoe moves with the foot without stiffness during quick footwork.

Ale Galan and the Crazyquick

Ale Galan brought his knowledge as world number 1 into the design of the Crazyquick. The shoe is tuned for his attacking, net-dominant playing style. That translates into maximum responsiveness at the net, good grip on rotations and a lightweight construction that reduces fatigue during long matches.

Who is the Adidas Crazyquick for?

The Crazyquick is the choice for attacking and advanced players who want the best of Adidas in a padel shoe. The BOOST version suits players who combine power and endurance. The Lightstrike version suits players who prioritise maximum speed and lightness.

Noene insoles: also with the Atomik

The Atomik has good shock absorption, but on courts with a hard base and thin fibres vibration energy still comes through. Noene insoles absorb up to 96 percent of those vibrations preventively. We recommend Noene to every player, even if you already have good shoes.

Frequently asked questions
