HEAD padel bags

HEAD is one of the major names in racket sports and is rapidly expanding its padel range. The HEAD padel bag collection stands out through CCT+ technology: a thermal control system built into the racket compartments of most HEAD models as standard. Combined with generous capacity and ergonomic carrying comfort, that makes HEAD a serious choice for frequent players.

The HEAD bag range explained

  • HEAD Tour L: the largest model. Capacity for up to 7 rackets with CCT+ thermal compartment, integrated shoe compartment, multiple accessory pockets and a backpack carry option. Built for tournament players who bring everything. Available in multiple colours per season.
  • HEAD Base: the entry range with two main compartments, space for three rackets and CCT+ technology in one of the compartments. Well priced for the protection offered. Durable construction with updated fit and reinforced build.
  • HEAD Pro X Racqpack: the backpack option. CCT+ thermal compartment for three rackets, separate laptop compartment, EVA structure for weight distribution, adjustable chest closures. Suitable for players who walk or use public transport and still want racket protection.

CCT+ technology: what it does

CCT+ stands for Climate Control Technology. It is a thermal lining in the racket compartment that acts as a buffer between the external temperature and the racket. In summer it slows the warming, in winter it slows the cooling. It is not the same as a cool box, but it is a measurable difference compared to a bag without a thermal layer. At HEAD, CCT+ is standard in most models, including the entry range.

Material and sustainability

HEAD incorporates recycled materials in the packaging and labels of the bag range. The outer fabric is made from durable materials that withstand intensive use. The reinforced padding construction protects the contents even when the bag is fully loaded.

Why the thermal compartment matters

EVA foam, the core of your padel racket, is baked at around 50 degrees Celsius during production. A car interior in summer can reach that range. At that temperature the foam can permanently soften, causing the racket to lose power. That is irreversible. In winter the reverse applies: below 5 degrees EVA becomes hard and brittle. At PadelShop.com we measure racket hardness professionally and see the difference with rackets that spent the summer in a car. When buying, check whether the model you choose has a thermally insulated racket compartment.
