Oxdog has built a reputation for diamond-shaped attacking rackets that stay accessible in the hand, and the Ultimate Pro Light 2027 takes that philosophy a step further. Diamond geometry with a lightweight build, a hard EVA Medium+ core, and an HES Carbon 8K face with a rough carbon surface. The result is an attacking racket that behaves like a lighter all-round racket in the swing, which is an unusual combination in this segment. What is new in the 2027 version The headline update for the 2027 generation is the RBS (Racket Balance System). A 6-gram stainless steel counterweight sits in the handle and can be added or removed without tools, letting you tune the balance of the racket between a lighter maneuverable setup and a more head-heavy attacking setup. If you want more mass behind the smash, add the weight. If you want the fastest swing at the net, leave it off. You decide the character. Beyond the RBS system, Oxdog has refined the face construction with HES Carbon 8K. The 8K carbon weave gives a stiff direct response on impact while the rough carbon surface finish adds grip on the ball for spin on bandeja and vibora. Right-side players and net specialists will recognise the character immediately: diamond geometry, hard core, direct response, but without the heavy swingweight that usually comes with that package. It also suits players who want to grow into an attacking racket without the physical demands of a pure heavy diamond. The lower swingweight reduces arm fatigue during long sessions, and the RBS system lets you build up the head weight gradually as your technique and strength develop. Less suited to players who prioritise control, comfort, or who have a sensitive elbow. The hard core (66 on our scale) puts more load on the arm than a round softer racket does. Also less suited to players who want maximum leverage on the smash from a heavy diamond. For pure power, a diamond with a swingweight above 160 is a better fit. The Ultimate Pro Light 2027 strips the weight back to the maneuverable band while keeping the diamond shape, which makes it the faster more reactive version in the family. If you played a previous Ultimate Pro Light, the 2027 adds the RBS adjustable weight system which was not available on earlier generations.
