WHICH PERSONAL DATA DOES PLAZA PADEL COLLECT FOR WHICH PURPOSES AND WITH WHICH LEGAL BASIS?

We collect your personal data because you have provided it to us. We may also obtain your personal data from other sources, such as Playtomic and social media. We may collect personal data in the following situations.

Data for your visit to the website
We make sure our website functions properly. To do so, we collect your IP-address, information about your internet browser, the operating system you use and the pages you visit on our website. The legal basis for the processing of this data consists of a legitimate interest, namely the optimisation of our website and the improvement of our services.

Data for processing your order
If you place an order without creating an account, we collect a number of data from you. These are your first and last name, e-mail address, postcode, house number and any addition, country of residence, telephone number, delivery address and whether you are a private or business customer. We need this information to be able to process your order and answer any questions you may have about it. We also need this information for any returns or repairs. The legal basis for processing these details is the performance of the agreement we have concluded with you.

If someone else places an order and chooses your address as the delivery address, we will receive your first and last name as well as your address details from that person. We need this information to be able to process the order.

Data in your account
If you create an account on our website, we collect a number of data from you. This includes your first and last name, email address, phone number, billing information, delivery address and whether you are a private or business customer. We need this information to be able to process your order and answer any questions you may have about it. We also need this information for any returns or repairs. In your account you can also view your order history. From your account you can place orders. The legal basis for processing this information is the execution of the agreement we have with you.

Information about your contact with our customer service
If you contact our customer service through the contact form or by email, we collect a number of data from you. This includes your name, e-mail address, the content of the correspondence and possibly your telephone number and company name. If you contact our customer service by telephone or WhatsApp, we will also store your telephone number. We need this information in order to process your request. Details about your booking
If you make a reservation for one of our courses on our website, you register your personal data via the booking tool Playtomic. We collect the data collected through Playtomic. The legal basis for the processing of these data is the performance of the contract we conclude with you.

Social media
We are active on various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. If you communicate with us through social media channels, we may receive your data. This includes your (user) name, place of residence, e-mail address and gender. The legal basis for processing these data consists of a legitimate interest, namely improving our services and increasing customer satisfaction.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will save your e-mail address. We need your e-mail address to be able to send you the newsletter. The legal basis for the processing of this information is your consent.

WITH WHOM DOES PLAZA PADEL SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We provide your personal data to companies belonging to our group for the purpose of concluding and executing the agreement we have concluded with you. This is particularly necessary to be able to use all our services. Padelshop does not send data such as name, address, e-mail address, or other directly identifying data to these parties for these purposes. We provide your personal data if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement we have with you. If you place an order on our website, we will provide your details to our logistics partners. They need this information to deliver your order to your chosen address and to keep you informed about our progress. We also provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the protection of legitimate interests (for example, the maintenance and improvement of our website), if this is required by law or if you have given your express consent. In all cases we do not provide more personal data than necessary.

HOW LONG DOES PLAZA PADEL KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We keep your personal data no longer than necessary to realize the purposes for which we process your data. In this context we generally use a retention period of two (2) years, unless you have created an account, registered for our newsletter or unless we are legally obliged to retain your personal data for a longer period. We will keep the data in your account as long as your account is active. If you have not logged into your account for a period of three years, we will close your account and remove your personal data. The data that you have provided us with to be able to send you the newsletter, will be stored until you indicate that you no longer wish to receive it. In the event of a legal obligation, we will apply the legal retention period. After this period we will remove your data.

No, we do not make use of automated decision making.

HOW DOES PLAZA PADEL HANDLE PERSONAL DATA OF CHILDREN?

Our services are directed to persons of sixteen (16) years of age and older. Children up to sixteen (16) years old need the (permission for) permission of a person who has parental responsibility. Should you suspect that we are processing personal data of a person under the age of sixteen (16) without (authorisation to) consent, please contact us at it@plazapadel.com.
