Oxdog padel rackets
Oxdog padel rackets
Oxdog is a Swedish brand with its roots in floorball, a sport that requires similar precision and technical development in equipment as padel. When Oxdog entered the padel market, they brought with them a technical approach that was genuinely different from the established Spanish brands. Their focus is on innovation in carbon technology, aerodynamics and adjustable racket properties that give players more control over how their racket feels and performs. The result is a well-structured range with three clearly differentiated families that each serve a distinct type of player.
At PadelShop.com you will find the complete Oxdog 2026 padel racket range. Below we explain every family, what it is built for and which type of player it suits best.
The Oxdog padel racket families explained
Pure — control, consistency and defence
The Pure family is Oxdog's control-oriented line. Round-shaped rackets with wide sweet spots and neutral, forgiving ball response. Pure models are built for players who prioritise consistency, enjoy building points from the baseline and want a racket that helps them reach one more ball without loading the arm. The sweet spot covers almost the entire face, which makes Pure models particularly forgiving on shots hit slightly off-centre.
Within the Pure family, the Court model is the most accessible and forgiving starting point. The Tour model adds a step up in construction quality and response. The Pro+ is the most demanding Pure model, with a firmer structure and more precise ball output suited to players who want control without compromise.
Available in: Oxdog Pure Court 2026, Oxdog Pure Tour 2026, Oxdog Pure Pro+ 2026.
Hyper — all-round versatility between control and power
The Hyper family sits between Pure and Ultimate. These rackets use a teardrop shape and medium to high balance, which creates more power than a round racket without the full demands of the diamond shape. Hyper models are built for players who play at a good pace, want to press their opponents and value speed and directness in their shots without sacrificing defensive reliability.
The Hyper Pro 2.0 2026 is the current flagship of the family. It uses HES Carbon, PowerRibs for frame stability, Side Port Technology for aerodynamic speed and the RBS system for adjustable balance. The Vibradamp system reduces vibration through silicone inserts under the grip.
Available in: Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0 2026.
Sense — feel and responsiveness
The Sense family is a newer addition to the Oxdog range, positioned for players who value touch and feel in their racket alongside solid construction. The Sense models use a teardrop-influenced shape and aim for a more responsive, feedback-rich playing experience compared to the Pure family's neutral comfort.
Available in: Oxdog Sense Pro 2026.
Ultimate — attacking power with a diamond shape
The Ultimate family is Oxdog's most performance-oriented line. Diamond-shaped rackets with a sweet spot that sits mid-high in the face and is smaller than on round or teardrop models. Ultimate models are built for experienced players who generate their own speed and want a racket that amplifies the energy of attacking shots. The RBS system (Racket Balance System) is a key feature of the Ultimate family, allowing players to add or remove an 8-gram weight at the top of the racket to adjust between a more power-oriented and a more control-oriented setup.
Important: the diamond shape and high balance of the Ultimate models place more rotational load on the elbow and wrist with every shot. These rackets are suited to players with a consistent and technically sound technique. If you are sensitive to arm strain, start with a Pure or Hyper model first.
Within the Ultimate family, the Court model is the most accessible entry point. The Tour and Pro+ add steps up in construction quality and technical demand. The Classic is a heritage model within the family.
Available in: Oxdog Ultimate Court 2026, Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ 2026, Oxdog Ultimate Pro+ Classic 2026.

Sweet spot, shape and what it means for your game
The shape of a padel racket determines where the sweet spot is located and how the racket behaves in different game situations. This matters for every player, regardless of level. Playing style, position on court and technique are more decisive than your ranking.
- Round racket: the sweet spot covers almost the entire face. Very forgiving and consistent on shots at different heights. Round rackets are not only for beginners. The shape relates to playing style, not level. There are plenty of advanced players who deliberately choose a round racket because it fits a control-oriented, patient style of play.
- Teardrop racket: the sweet spot sits mid-high in the face. This combines control at lower heights with more power on higher, attacking shots. Well suited to all-round players who want both consistency and punch in their game.
- Hybrid racket: the hybrid shape combines elements of the teardrop and diamond. The sweet spot sits slightly higher than on a teardrop, but is larger than on a diamond. This makes it versatile for players who want power and control without committing fully to one direction. The hybrid shape generally asks for at least an intermediate level of technique.
Diamond-shaped rackets are not available in this range at PadelShop.com. Looking for a diamond shape with maximum power? We are happy to advise you on alternatives from other brands. You can reach us via WhatsApp or visit our Padel Experience Center in Alphen aan den Rijn.
Key Oxdog technologies
- HES Carbon (High Energy System): Oxdog's proprietary carbon that reacts faster and transfers energy more efficiently than standard carbon constructions. This translates to more speed and power per shot.
- PowerRibs: reinforced side rails on the frame that increase stability and reduce energy loss on impact. These also contribute to Silent Speed Technology, which reduces the sound of the shot.
- RBS (Racket Balance System): an adjustable 8-gram weight at the top of the racket, available on Ultimate and Hyper models. Adding the weight raises the balance for more power on smashes. Removing it lowers the balance for more manoeuvrability and control.
- Side Port Technology: aerodynamic grooves in the frame that reduce air resistance for faster swing speed and quicker reactions at the net.
- Vibradamp: silicone inserts under the grip that absorb vibration on impact and reduce the load on the arm, particularly relevant for players who play long sessions or are sensitive to elbow strain.
Weight, balance and injury prevention
Women generally play best with rackets between 340 and 360 grams. The Pure Court and Pure Tour are the most natural starting points. The Hyper Pro 2.0 may suit more advanced women who want more power and attacking potential.
Men at recreational level are generally well served by 355 to 370 grams. The Pure Pro+, Sense Pro or Hyper Pro 2.0 are strong choices. Men playing at a more competitive and offensive level can look at the Ultimate range, starting with the Court version.
The Vibradamp system in Oxdog rackets reduces vibration meaningfully compared to rackets without this feature. Combined with the PowerRibs that reduce energy loss on impact, Oxdog rackets generally place less unnecessary load on the arm than competing products of similar weight. That said, the Ultimate family with its high balance still increases the rotational demand on the elbow and wrist, and should be approached carefully by players who are sensitive to arm strain.

Frequently asked questions about Oxdog padel rackets
What is the difference between Oxdog Pure, Hyper and Ultimate?
Pure is the control-oriented round family for consistent, defensive players. Hyper is the all-round teardrop family that balances control and power for versatile players. Ultimate is the power-oriented diamond family for attacking players who generate their own speed. The three families cover different playing philosophies, not just different levels.
What does the Oxdog RBS system do?
RBS stands for Racket Balance System. It consists of a small adjustable weight of 8 grams at the top of certain Oxdog rackets. Adding the weight shifts the balance point higher, which increases power on smashes and overheads. Removing it lowers the balance point, which increases manoeuvrability and control. This lets you fine-tune the same racket for different match situations or playing preferences without buying a new model.
Is Oxdog suitable for beginners?
Yes. The Pure Court is the most accessible Oxdog model and is well suited to beginners because of its round shape, full-face sweet spot and forgiving feel. As your technique develops, the Pure Tour and Pure Pro+ are natural progression points within the same control-oriented philosophy.
Does Oxdog have a hybrid-shaped racket?
No, the current Oxdog range at PadelShop.com does not include a hybrid-shaped racket. The collection uses round shapes in the Pure family, teardrop shapes in the Hyper and Sense families, and diamond shapes in the Ultimate family. If you are looking for a hybrid shape, we are happy to advise you on alternatives from other brands.
