NOX padel shoes

NOX is a Spanish padel specialist brand that has its padel shoe design validated by podiatry experts. The AT10 LUX, NOX's flagship model, is clinically tested and certified by the INESCOP Footwear Technology Center in Alicante and medically validated by podiatrist Marta Rueda, adviser to top athletes. That is a claim most brands cannot make.

Agustin Tapia, at his peak the world number 1 in padel, plays in the NOX AT10 LUX. The shoe is also the official shoe of several Premier Padel tournaments in Spain.

AGG: Advanced Gravity Geometry

AGG is the central technology in the NOX AT10 LUX. The principle is simple but effective: the heel sits slightly higher than the forefoot, creating a larger drop. This has two advantages. First, it facilitates the waiting posture of a padel player: slightly forward-leaning with weight to the front. Second, it reduces tension on the calf muscle during starts and stops. A larger drop reduces the load on the rear of the foot during abrupt accelerations.

Clinical validation: the AGG geometry has been validated by INESCOP and by podiatry specialists from the Sant Cugat High Performance Sports Center. That means the claim about reduction of muscle tension and injury risk has been measured and confirmed, not merely asserted.

Lateral Support

The Lateral Support technology increases the contact area of the sole with the floor on the sides. During a lateral movement the foot has a wider support base, which reduces the risk of ankle rolling. Combined with the AbraXone internal lateral reinforcement in the upper, the NOX AT10 LUX is one of the most injury-preventively designed padel shoes on the market.

Sole design

The outsole of the AT10 LUX combines a herringbone pattern with small lugs and a rotation circle under the forefoot. That gives grip when pushing off and sprinting, while the lugs provide extra traction on uneven sandy courts. The rotation circle lets you pivot fluidly when defending off the glass wall.

Models in our range

  • NOX AT10 LUX: the premium model with all the technology. Clinically validated, AGG technology, Lateral Support, Ortholite inner insole, AbraXone reinforcement. For players who want a shoe built around injury prevention without sacrificing performance.
  • NOX AT10 Pro: the more accessible model in the AT10 range. Same core principles but slightly less technical complexity and a lower price. For players who want the AT10 approach without the premium budget.

Who are NOX padel shoes for?

NOX padel shoes are above all the choice for players who think carefully about injury prevention. The clinical validation and the specific technologies around AGG and Lateral Support make it the shoe for players who have already had complaints or who want to ensure they never develop them. That applies to all levels, from intermediate to professional.

Noene insoles: even with a good shoe

A good padel shoe is the foundation. On courts with shorter fibres and less spring, vibrations still come through the sole. Noene insoles absorb and eliminate up to 96 percent of those vibrations. They are only 1 to 2 millimetres thick and fit in any shoe. We recommend Noene preventively to every player, even if you already wear good padel shoes.

Frequently asked questions

Do NOX AT10 LUX shoes run small?

Yes, the AT10 LUX is known for a snug fit that feels smaller than the size indicates. Going half a size up is recommended by most users. Check the size guide on the product page.

Is the clinical validation of NOX real or marketing?

The validation by INESCOP (the Spanish footwear technology institute) and the endorsement of recognised podiatrists is specific and verifiable. It concerns measurable parameters such as muscle tension and pressure distribution, not general claims. That distinguishes NOX from brands that make vague health claims.
