Adidas padel shoes

Adidas brings its years of experience in racket sports directly to padel. The Adidas padel shoe range combines proven technologies from tennis with a sole design tuned for artificial grass and the specific movements of padel. From the explosive lightweight Crazyquick to the stable Barricade for players who make many direction changes.

Key technologies

  • BOOST midsole: Adidas's own energy return foam. With every step the thermoplastic polyurethane granules compress and return energy, resulting in a more responsive and less fatiguing feel during longer sessions. Particularly useful on hard courts with little shock absorption in the surface.
  • Lightstrike midsole: lightweight alternative to BOOST, focused on direct response and speed. The choice for players who prioritise explosiveness over maximum cushioning.
  • Torsion System: a stiffening element in the middle of the sole that allows the forefoot and heel to move independently while keeping the midfoot stable. Reduces unwanted rotation during quick stops.
  • Herringbone outsole: Adidas's herringbone pattern is tuned for artificial grass with sand infill. Good grip on direction changes with sufficient control when sliding.

Models in our range

  • Adidas Crazyquick: the flagship model, worn by Ale Galan. Lightweight, explosive and focused on speed. Lightstrike midsole, flexible upper and herringbone sole. The model for players who want to dominate the net and need maximum reaction speed.
  • Adidas Barricade: built for durability and stability. Torsion System and a sturdy upper that holds up longer under intensive play. Suited to players who put a lot of lateral load on their shoes and want long-lasting support.
  • Adidas Courtjam Control: the versatile choice for players who prioritise comfort and control over pure speed. Bounce midsole gives a pleasantly soft feel without losing direct response.

Who are Adidas padel shoes for?

Adidas padel shoes suit players who want the quality of a major sports brand combined with technology genuinely designed for padel. The Crazyquick is the choice for attacking players with a fast game. The Barricade suits frequent players who want their shoe to last. The Courtjam is broadly applicable for recreational to intermediate players.

Noene insoles: even with a good shoe

A good padel shoe is the foundation. On courts with shorter fibres and less spring, vibrations still come through the sole. Noene insoles absorb and eliminate up to 96 percent of those vibrations. They are only 1 to 2 millimetres thick and fit in any shoe. We recommend Noene preventively to every player, even if you already wear good padel shoes.

Frequently asked questions

Are Adidas padel shoes also suitable for tennis courts?

The herringbone sole on most Adidas padel models also works on clay court surfaces. On hard court or indoor hard floors the grip can sometimes be too much. Check the product page for the recommended court types per model.

Do Adidas padel shoes run small?

Adidas padel shoes generally fit true to size. Some models like the Crazyquick run slightly narrow due to the snug fit. If in doubt, go half a size up or consult the size guide.
