About this racket
The NOX AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtreme 2026 is the racket Agustin Tapia chose for maximum directness and attacking power. The round shape delivers a large sweet spot that remains reliable under pressure. The 12K Alum Xtrem carbon provides a stiff, direct feel that is harder and more powerful than the 18K variant. This is a racket for advanced players who know what they want: maximum response on every shot, net dominance and enough forgiveness to hold their own in defence.
What is new in 2026?
NOX has completely redesigned the mould for 2026. The new shape is more aerodynamic, with EOS Tunnel perforations on the sides that reduce air resistance. The most significant material innovation is the 12K Alum Xtrem carbon, an NOX exclusive that reduces fibre waviness by 50 percent compared to standard 12K carbon. Thanks to aluminisation, the racket also performs more consistently under temperature changes. The Weight Balance counterweight system is new for 2026: interchangeable 2g and 4g weights let you fine-tune the balance to your playing style.
Playing character
The 12K Alum Xtreme plays noticeably stiffer than the 18K variant. The HR3 Black EVA core has high density and a high memory effect: it springs back quickly after every shot for consistent power. The round shape gives a large, central sweet spot. The forgiveness on off-centre hits is greater than with a teardrop or diamond shape, which you notice most in defence. For net play, smashes and overheads, the stiff 12K construction delivers the direct response to finish points.
The Dual Spin surface, a combination of 3D texture and silica sand finish across the entire face, maximises spin on every shot.
Weight Balance
Interchangeable 2g and 4g weights sit in the handle and can be swapped without tools. Add weights for more head-heaviness and extra power on smashes. Remove them for more manoeuvrability and defensive control.
Technologies
- 12K Alum Xtrem Carbon: 50 percent less fibre waviness than standard 12K. Stiffer, more uniform and more stable under temperature changes.
- HR3 Black EVA core: High density and high memory effect. The core springs back quickly after every shot for consistent, direct power.
- Weight Balance: Interchangeable 2g and 4g weights in the handle. Balance adjustable without tools. New for 2026, not in the 2025 version.
- Dual Spin surface: 3D texture combined with silica sand finish across the full face. More spin on slice shots, vipers and effect balls.
- EOS Tunnel: Side perforations in the frame that reduce air resistance. Faster swing, better handling and improved weight distribution.
- DCS (Dynamic Composite Structure): Reinforcement at the frame-face junction. Reduces cracking and creates a more uniform feel across the entire hitting surface.
- Pulse System: Vibration-dampening rubbers built into the frame. Less vibration to the hand, more comfort during long sessions.
- Custom Grip: NOX grip technology, certified by Testea Padel. Better hold and reduced vibration transmission.
- SmartStrap: Quick-release safety strap. Hygienic and fully adjustable to personal preference.
- Photochromic Paint: Light-reactive paint in the core that changes colour based on light exposure.
Which player is this for?
Advanced and professional players with an attacking playing style. The stiff 12K construction demands a technically consistent swing. Players who prefer more comfort or spend more time defending will be better served by the 18K Alum variant.
12K versus 18K
The same foundation: round shape, Dual Spin, Weight Balance and EOS Tunnel. But fundamentally different playing characters. The 12K Alum Xtreme is stiffer, more direct and more powerful. The 18K Alum is softer, more comfortable and slightly more forgiving. Choose the 12K for maximum directness and power. Choose the 18K for balance between attack and defence.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 12K and the 18K Alum?
The 12K Alum Xtreme is stiffer and more direct, more power, harder feel and a high-density HR3 Black EVA core. The 18K Alum offers a softer, more comfortable feel with more control and a multi-layered MLD Black EVA core. Both have a round shape, Dual Spin surface and Weight Balance system.
Is this racket suitable for intermediate players?
Primarily for advanced and professional level. Strong intermediates who are deliberately looking for more directness can handle this racket, but the 18K variant is more accessible.
Can I adjust the balance?
Yes. Interchangeable 2g and 4g weights in the handle, swappable without tools. New for 2026, not present in the 2025 version.
How much does the racket weigh?
360 to 375 grams. If you want a specific weight, contact us and we can often select a racket from a specific weight segment for you.
