The adidas Arrow Hit Pro EDT 2026 is Ari Sánchez's signature racket: a limited edition diamond racket that, despite its attacking shape, stays surprisingly controllable. Our measurement explains exactly why.
Our measurement
The core characteristics at a glance
Measured on our Wilson Baiardo Tune Pro. Real numbers, not box copy.
Soft. At 63, this racket sits at the top of soft, just below hard. On court that feels like a comfortable, forgiving response: a mistimed hit won't punish you, while a clean strike still transfers plenty of energy.
Our hardness scale
Just neutral, leaning maneuverable. At 161 the weight sits closer to your hand. On court that means a racket that turns and points quickly and is easy to aim, ideal at the net. A higher swingweight would give more punch on the smash, but this racket chooses speed and maneuverability.
Our swingweight scale
360 to 375 grams
even (neutral)
In practice: a diamond shape you can actually control. The soft core and maneuverable swingweight make it more forgiving and kinder to the arm than most diamond rackets, while the shape still gives you an attacking sweet spot.
Who is this racket for
Well suited to: the advanced player who wants the attacking sweet spot of a diamond shape, but without the stiffness and head-heavy feel of a pure power racket. Also an accessible first step into diamond rackets.
Less suited to: players chasing maximum raw power (look at the Metalbone instead) and absolute beginners.
Arrow Hit Pro or Metalbone: which fits you
Both rackets come from the adidas Pro EDT 2026 line and share the diamond shape, but they target a different type of player. The Metalbone, Ale Galán's signature racket, is head-heavy and built for maximum power: more punch, but stiffer and less forgiving. The Arrow Hit Pro keeps control in hand with its soft core, maneuverable swingweight and even balance. In short: choose the Metalbone if you put everything into attack, and the Arrow Hit Pro if you want a diamond racket that stays easy to control.
Playing characteristics
The diamond shape places the sweet spot high in the face, which makes it attacking on the smash and the high volley. But thanks to the soft core and maneuverable swingweight it stays forgiving and easy to handle, especially at the net where it turns quickly. You give up some raw punch compared to a head-heavy power racket, but you gain control and comfort in return.
Technology
adidas has equipped the Arrow Hit Pro with the Intelligent Balance System: a rail on each side of the blade that lets you adjust the balance to your preference. The Muscle Power System, a structure of carbon ribs running through the heart of the racket, increases torsional stiffness and keeps the frame stable on hard shots. The extended Power Grip increases inertia and therefore the power in your shots. The core is an EVA Soft Performance rubber, which matches the soft, comfortable response we measured.

Frequently asked questions
Is this really a control racket?
Yes, and our measurement backs it up. The soft core (hardness 63), the maneuverable swingweight (161) and the even balance make it a diamond racket you can steer well, rather than a stiff power racket.
What level player does the Arrow Hit Pro need?
A racket for the advanced player, but more accessible than a pure power diamond because the core is soft and the swingweight is maneuverable. Also suitable if you want to take your game up to advanced level.
Is this racket suitable with a sensitive elbow?
Relatively friendly for a diamond racket, thanks to the soft core and maneuverable swingweight. If you genuinely suffer from padel elbow, a round shape with a soft core remains the safest choice. Feel free to ask us for advice.
Can I have the racket adjusted to my weight?
Yes. At our Padel Experience Center we adjust the racket to your preferred weight and balance.
