Shape: a note on classification
NOX classifies this racket as a teardrop. Most webshops and reviewers adopt that classification. We come to a different conclusion.
When you physically hold this racket and look at the actual shape of the face, you see that the centre of gravity sits much closer to the neutral position than a true teardrop. The face is wider and shorter than the manufacturer photos suggest. We therefore classify the AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum 2026 as a round racket. Adjustable weight system

Dual surface structure for spin
A combination of 3D relief and a fine sand finish across the entire face. On older AT10 models, the sand texture was limited to the edges and the 3D relief to the centre. How to keep this racket in top condition

First, how do arm injuries develop in padel?
Padel elbow (lateral epicondylitis) and wrist pain are the most common injuries among padel players, and the numbers are climbing alongside the sport's growth in the Netherlands. That makes sense: if you were one of the 876,000 padel players in the Netherlands in 2025 and you played at least twice a week, the strain on your elbow and wrist accumulates fast.
The core of the problem is vibration transfer. Every time the ball hits your racket, a shockwave is generated. A clean hit in the sweet spot delivers a short, contained vibration. Three common assumptions we encounter every week in our Experience Center.
"A heavier racket means more vibration, so it's worse for my arm." Not quite. A heavier racket actually dampens vibration more than a light one, because the mass absorbs the shockwave. The problem isn't absolute weight — it's too much weight in the head (high balance). A 370-gram racket with low balance can be friendlier to your arm than a 350-gram racket with high balance.
"Padel elbow comes from a weak swing." Sometimes, but far more often it comes from squeezing too hard into a too-stiff grip which is technically still a symptom of the wrong material, not bad technique. A better grip solves half the problem without you needing a single coaching session.

In practice, 12K suits the vast majority of recreational and advanced players better. Not because 12K is easier, but because most players don't yet have the technical consistency and swing speed needed to truly exploit 18K. With 18K, every off-centre hit feels harsh in the hand, and those add up across hundreds of shots in a session.
We mainly recommend 18K to players who train multiple times a week, have an aggressive playing style and already have experience with stiff diamond models. For everyone else, 12K Alum Xtrem is actually the smarter choice in 2026, because the Alum Xtrem evolution has narrowed the stiffness gap with 18K without giving up the comfort advantage.
