Nox AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2026 vs 2025: What’s new?
If you’ve been a fan of the Nox AT10 Genius 12K from 2025, you’ll be pleased to know the 2026 edition takes things to the next level with big updates in materials, feel, and technology.
Designed in collaboration with Agustín Tapia, the 2026 model is built for demanding players who want precision, power, and now, customization.
Material upgrade: Carbon 12K Alum Xtrem
The biggest shift is the move to Carbon 12K Alum Xtrem. Unlike the classic 12K carbon from 2025, this new aluminized version creates a thinner, more uniform and stiffer surface. The result is:
- Greater durability
- Better power transfer
- Thermal stability even in extreme weather
This is especially useful for players who play outdoors year-round and need a consistent response regardless of conditions.
New core: HR3 Black EVA
While the 2025 version used MLD Black EVA, the 2026 model upgrades to HR3 Black EVA. This core is slightly firmer and more reactive, offering:
- A faster rebound
- Greater control in high-speed rallies
- A tighter, more precise feel on volleys and smashes
Chromic Paint: Designed to stand out
The 2026 model introduces photochromic paint in the core of the racket. It reacts to sunlight, subtly changing color and creating a unique, premium visual identity on court.
New mold and aerodynamics
The updated mold in the 2026 series includes EOS Tunnel side perforations that improve airflow and maneuverability. Combined with a more aerodynamic frame and a longer grip (perfect for two-handed shots), the racket feels quicker and more controlled.
Weight Balance System: Customise your feel
One of the biggest innovations of the 2026 line is the Weight Balance System. You can now adjust the balance point of your racket by adding or removing counterweights (2g or 4g), depending on your playing style:
- Add weight at the top for more smash power
- Shift weight toward the grip for more control and faster handling
This level of personalization was not available in the 2025 model and gives serious players more control than ever before.
What stayed the same?
The essentials are still there what made the 2025 version great remains:
- Carbon frame for stiffness and durability
- Teardrop shape for a perfect control/power mix
- SmartStrap® for safety and hygiene
- Custom Grip + Pulse System to reduce vibration and improve feel
- Extended 30mm grip for two-handed play
Conclusion: A true step up
If you loved the AT10 12K 2025 for its control and stiffness, the 2026 version takes everything a notch further with a stronger feel, more customisation, and modern spin technologies. It’s designed for high-level players who want a racket that feels as sharp as their game.
